PreachKit offers three plans. You start on the Free plan with no card required, and can upgrade whenever you are ready. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial for churches that have never subscribed before. This article explains what each plan includes and how the trial works.

Prices shown are monthly. Switching to yearly billing on any paid plan saves the equivalent of two months' cost.
How Tokens Work
PreachKit measures usage in generation tokens. Each time you upload a sermon and generate content, one token is used — regardless of how many output types you select. Generating five pieces of content from one sermon costs the same single token as generating one.
Your monthly token allocation resets at the start of each billing cycle. Extra token packs you purchase do not expire and carry over month to month. Your current balance is always visible on your dashboard.
Free plan tokens are a fixed lifetime pool — they do not reset monthly. Once used, upgrading to a paid plan unlocks monthly token allocations.
The 14-Day Free Trial
If your church has never had a Starter or Growth subscription, you will see a Start 14-day free trial button on the pricing page instead of a standard sign-up button.
- A payment card is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged until day 15.
- During the trial you receive 2 sermon credits and 5 polish credits to use.
- If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed — you keep access to paid features until the trial expires.
- If you want to unlock your full monthly allocation early, you can choose Upgrade now from your billing settings, which charges your card immediately and ends the trial.
Monthly vs. Yearly Billing
Every paid plan supports both monthly and yearly billing. On the pricing page, use the Monthly / Yearly toggle at the top to see both prices side by side. Yearly billing is charged as a single upfront payment and saves you the cost of two months compared to paying monthly.
You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time. When switching, unused time is credited back and applied toward the new billing period — you only pay the difference.
Choosing the Right Plan
Free is a good starting point if you want to explore PreachKit before committing. The lifetime token pool is small, and you can only generate a subset of output types.
Starter fits most churches. You get 5 new tokens every month, access to all output types, and the content calendar. The team seat is for the owner only, so it works best for a single person managing content.
Growth is for churches with a dedicated communications team or higher sermon volume. With 15 tokens per month, up to 10 team seats, and analytics tools, it supports a full content workflow across multiple staff members.
Common Questions
What happens when I run out of tokens? An alert appears when you try to upload a new sermon. You can buy a $5 extra token pack immediately, or wait until your allocation resets at the start of the next billing cycle.
Can I downgrade from Growth to Starter? Yes. Select Starter on the pricing page. You will see a proration preview showing any credit for unused Growth time before you confirm. Note that team seats beyond the Starter limit will be affected.
Is the Free plan really free forever? Yes. The Free plan has no time limit. Your lifetime tokens are simply smaller in quantity than a monthly paid allocation.
